A rakhi-with-chocolate hamper substitutes Indian mithai with chocolate — useful when the recipient prefers chocolate, is in a hot transit zone where mithai may not survive, or when the gift is for a younger sibling. DivineTatva's chocolate hampers offer two paths: Indian artisan (Mason & Co cocoa from Pondicherry, Smoor Bangalore truffles) for the locavore palate, or imported European (Lindt, Ferrero Rocher, Toblerone) for the classic gift. Both options are paired with the blessed rakhi, roli-chawal kit and handwritten card in a single hand-tied parcel.

Will chocolate melt during transit in summer?
All chocolate hampers ship in heat-protective insulated packaging with reusable ice gels — chocolates stay solid through transit even in 40°C peak summer, for up to 4 days from despatch. For international addresses or extended summer routes, we substitute European chocolates with higher cocoa content (>60%) which are more heat-stable.
Can I choose between Indian artisan and imported European chocolate?
Yes — at checkout, select 'Indian artisan' (Mason & Co cocoa from Pondicherry, Smoor Bangalore truffles, Kocoatrait Karnataka) or 'Imported European' (Lindt Lindor, Ferrero Rocher, Toblerone, Patchi). Or pick 'Mixed assortment' for half-and-half. No price difference for the standard hampers.
Are the chocolates suitable for diabetic recipients?
Standard hampers use regular sugar-content chocolate. For diabetic recipients, we offer a 'low-sugar' option using >70% dark chocolate from Mason & Co or Lindt Excellence 85% — mention 'low-sugar diabetic' in checkout notes. No fully sugar-free option (chocolate without any sweetener is unpalatable).
Is there an option for vegan chocolate?
Yes — Mason & Co Pondicherry makes dairy-free vegan chocolate that we include in vegan-tagged hampers. Mention 'vegan' in checkout notes. Note: imported European brands in our standard menu are not vegan; substitution is to Indian artisan only.
What chocolate brands do you partner with?
Indian artisan tier: Mason & Co Pondicherry, Smoor Bangalore, Kocoatrait Karnataka, Naviluna Mysore. Imported European tier: Lindt (Switzerland), Ferrero Rocher (Italy), Toblerone (Switzerland), Patchi (Lebanon — luxury tier). For corporate bulk orders we also accommodate brand-specific requests.
Can I send rakhi with chocolate to a child / under-12 recipient?
Yes — for child recipients we package chocolate that's age-appropriate (avoid the high-cocoa Excellence 85% which kids find too bitter), include a small cartoon-print rakhi, and add a fun-shaped chocolate (golden coin chocolate, animal-shape solid milk chocolate). Mention 'for child' in checkout notes.
