Rashi Ratna — lucky stones by zodiac.

Each rashi has a ruling graha — and each graha, a primary ratna. Find yours below.

Rashi ratnais the gemstone aligned with the ruling planet of your zodiac sign in Vedic jyotish. The right rashi ratna strengthens the planet's beneficial effects and softens its difficult transits — Manik (Ruby) for Simha rashi, Pukhraj (Yellow Sapphire) for Dhanu rashi, Neelam (Blue Sapphire) for Makar rashi, Panna (Emerald) for Mithun and Kanya rashi, Moonga (Red Coral) for Mesh and Vrishchik rashi, Moti (Pearl) for Kark rashi, and so on. Every stone on DivineTatva is lab-certified, set in the traditional metal for its graha, and energised with the correct beej mantra at sunrise on the ruling planet's day.

The Tradition

How Vedic gemstone selection works.

Vedic jyotish assigns each of the nine grahas (Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Rahu, Ketu) a primary ratna — a precious or semi-precious gemstone that resonates with its frequency. Wearing the right stone strengthens the planet's positive influence in your chart and softens its difficult transits.

The most common selection method uses your moon sign (janma rashi) — calculated from your birth time and place. Each rashi's ruling planet determines its primary stone: Mars for Aries and Scorpio (Red Coral), Venus for Taurus and Libra (Diamond), Mercury for Gemini and Virgo (Emerald), and so on.

Some pairings are inimical and should be avoided — for example, Mars natives (Aries, Scorpio) should not wear Diamond (Venus) or Blue Sapphire (Saturn). Each rashi page below details the specific pairings to avoid and the safest daily-wear alternatives.

A note on Blue Sapphire (Neelam): the fastest-acting Vedic ratna. Capricorn and Aquarius natives should always trial it for 3 days before permanent wear. DivineTatva includes a free 3-day trial with every Blue Sapphire purchase.
