Why wear it
  • Rose quartz is traditionally regarded as the master stone of the heart chakra (anahata) — associated with unconditional love, compassion and emotional healing in crystal-healing tradition.
  • Recommended after emotional shocks (grief, breakup, family conflict): the stone's gentle pink frequency is said to soothe rather than agitate, unlike higher-vibration stones.
  • Placed in the bedroom South-West corner, Feng Shui and Vastu both consider this the love/relationship zone — rose quartz here is the classic placement for relationship harmony.
  • Self-love practice: traditional crystal-healing wisdom holds that rose quartz must first heal the relationship with self before it can deepen relationships with others.
  • The pyramid shape concentrates the soft diffuse field of rose quartz, making meditation directly over the heart centre more focused than with a tumbled stone.
The Detail

About this piece

The Rose Quartz Pyramid is hand-lapped from Madagascar rose quartz — sourced from granite-pegmatite deposits prized for soft, even pink saturation. Mineralogically rose quartz is silicon dioxide (SiO₂, Mohs 7), with its pink colour traditionally attributed to trace titanium, manganese or dumortierite inclusions. Our 2-inch piece carries the Giza-replica 51°50' apex angle. In crystal-healing tradition rose quartz is the foremost heart-chakra (anahata) stone — known as the "stone of unconditional love" governing self-love, romantic harmony, family bonds, compassion and emotional healing. Purpose: emotional healing after grief or breakup, deepening relationships, self-acceptance practice, heart-chakra meditation. Placement: bedroom (relationship corner — SW per Vastu), living-room centre for family harmony, or directly over the heart during meditation. Energetically classed as gentle, soothing, sattvic.

How to wear

Place the pyramid in the South-West corner of the bedroom (the relationship/love direction in Vastu and Feng Shui), or on a side table in the living room for family harmony. For heart-chakra meditation, lie supine and place the smooth pyramid base-down on the centre of the chest for 10-15 minutes while breathing slowly. Cleanse weekly with cool water; avoid harsh sunlight, which can fade pink to pale. Recharge under moonlight.

Questions

Frequently asked

Why Madagascar rose quartz instead of Brazilian or Indian?

Madagascar rose quartz is geologically known for the softest, most uniform baby-pink saturation, with fewer milky inclusions than Brazilian material. Our 2-inch pieces are hand-selected from Madagascan rough.

How is rose quartz different from clear quartz for healing?

Both are SiO₂ but differ in trace mineral content. Clear quartz is the "master amplifier" — neutral, programmable to any intention. Rose quartz is intention-specific: it carries the heart-chakra frequency by default and is used specifically for love, compassion and emotional healing work.

Will the pink colour fade?

Rose quartz is mildly light-sensitive — prolonged direct sun can lighten the pink over years. Keep on a bedside table or shelf, not a sunny windowsill, and the colour remains stable.

Can I gift a rose quartz pyramid to my partner?

Yes, it is one of the most traditional crystal gifts for romantic and family relationships. Gifting on a Friday (Venus day) is considered auspicious for love-related stones.

Does rose quartz really heal heartbreak?

There is no clinical proof; rose quartz is a metaphysical/cultural tool. Many users in grief or breakup find the daily ritual of holding the stone and breathing into the heart genuinely calming — much of this may be the value of mindful self-care which the stone helps anchor.

Can I place this pyramid in the kitchen or office?

Yes, particularly in family kitchens (to soften interpersonal tension) and shared-team offices. In a personal office, the relationship/love zone is the back-right corner of the desk facing the door. ---
