The Detail

About this piece

7 Chakra Bracelet is the foundational chakra-balancing wrist mala, featuring seven genuine semi-precious stones — one for each of the seven primary energy centres of the subtle-body system codified in classical Tantric texts. The seven stones (root to crown) are: Red Jasper (silica-iron, Mohs 6.5–7, Root/Muladhara), Carnelian (chalcedony, Mohs 6.5–7, Sacral/Svadhisthana), Tiger Eye (chatoyant quartz, Mohs 6.5–7, Solar Plexus/Manipura), Green Aventurine (quartz with fuchsite, Mohs 6.5–7, Heart/Anahata), Turquoise or Howlite-dyed (phosphate / borate, Mohs 5–6 / 3.5, Throat/Vishuddha), Lapis Lazuli (lazurite-bearing silicate, Mohs 5–6, Third Eye/Ajna), and Amethyst (quartz, Mohs 7, Crown/Sahasrara). The bracelet acts as a portable chakra-tuning device — the seven mineral signatures are believed to harmonise the corresponding energy centres simultaneously. Authentication: each bead colour should match a recognisable mineral signature; our lab certificate documents the species for each of the seven beads.

How to wear

Wear on either wrist — the 7 chakra mix is omni-directional and balances both receiving (left) and projecting (right) energy. Best activated Sunday or any new-moon day. Hold the bracelet, scan attention through each chakra from root to crown (count seven slow breaths), chant "Om" seven times — one for each centre. Cleanse monthly with sage smoke or moonlight (mixed-mineral bracelets should avoid running water because turquoise/howlite components are not water-safe). Safe with perfume; avoid swimming.

Questions

Frequently asked

Are all seven stones genuine?

Yes — our lab certificate documents the species of each of the seven beads. Note that "turquoise" in low-cost mass-market 7-chakra bracelets is often dyed howlite (a soft borate mineral, Mohs 3.5) coloured to mimic turquoise; we disclose the actual material on the certificate. True natural turquoise (Mohs 5–6) carries a higher price point.

Can women, men, and children all wear it?

Yes, universally. The 7-chakra is the most-gifted crystal bracelet globally and is appropriate for all ages and genders.

Is the 7 chakra bracelet water-safe?

No. The turquoise/howlite and lapis lazuli components are not water-safe — they are porous and softer (Mohs 3.5–6) and can be damaged by water, soap, and salt. Remove before bathing, swimming, and dishwashing. Cleanse with sage smoke or moonlight only.

Can I wear it daily?

Yes — daily wear is the traditional recommendation for sustained chakra balancing. Most wearers cite a perceptible "evening-out" effect within 21 days.

What if I want to focus on one specific chakra?

Wear the 7-chakra as your daily base, and add a single-stone bracelet for the chakra you want to amplify (e.g., add a rose quartz for heart-focus, or pyrite for solar-plexus focus). The 7-chakra prevents over-correction in any single centre.

Does the order of the beads matter?

Traditionally yes — root-to-crown order (red at the bottom of the wrist to violet at the top) is preferred. Our bracelet is strung in this traditional ascending order. ---

How to verify this is genuine

Amethyst, citrine, rose quartz, aventurine, tiger eye, jasper and carnelian are all quartz-family stones at Mohs 7 — hard, inert and cool to the touch. Their common fake is dyed glass or dyed howlite, and every test below separates the two without equipment.

  1. 01
    Temperature

Real stone stays cool in your closed hand for several seconds. Glass warms in about a second; plastic almost instantly.

  2. 02
    Bead-to-bead variation

Natural beads differ slightly in tone, banding and inclusions. Identically bright, perfectly matched beads mean machine dye.

  3. 03
    Air bubbles

Hold a bead to light under a 10× loupe. Round internal bubbles appear in glass and never in natural quartz.

  4. 04
    Acetone swab

Rub a bead with nail-polish remover on cotton. Dyed beads transfer colour; natural stone does not. This is also the test for the wrist rashes people blame on 'energy' — it is the dye.

  5. 05
    Scratch

Quartz at Mohs 7 will scratch glass (5.5) and steel. If a bead scuffs against a steel key, it is not quartz.
