Why wear it
  • Comprehensive multi-planetary remedy — addresses all nine grahas (planets) simultaneously by carrying beads ruled by every primary planet from Sun (12 mukhi) through Saturn (7 and 14 mukhi)
  • Activates all seven major chakras through deity-specific mukhi alignment — from Muladhara (1 mukhi grounding) to Sahasrara (14 mukhi divine connection)
  • Ganesh rudraksha removes obstacles in new ventures, weddings, and house-warming events — traditionally worn during ground-breaking ceremonies
  • Gauri-Shankar bead supports marital harmony and Shiva-Shakti union energy — the only naturally-fused twin bead recognised in scripture
  • Cumulative spiritual merit equivalent to wearing each individual mukhi separately for full cycle — efficient and complete sadhana support
The Detail

About this piece

A 1-14 Mukhi Siddha Mala is the supreme rudraksha kantha (neck mala) composed of one authentic bead of each Mukhi from 1 through 14, plus a Ganesh Rudraksha (obstacle remover) and a Gauri-Shankar Rudraksha (Shiva-Shakti union bead) — totalling sixteen sacred beads on one thread. The Padma Purana and Shiv Purana describe it as the singular ornament that simultaneously invokes every planetary remedy, every primary deity, and every chakra activation. Each bead is independently lab certified and X-ray verified for mukhi count. The Indonesian variant uses 8-15mm beads; the Nepal variant uses 14-30mm beads (priced ₹95,000+). This Indonesian Siddha Mala is the practical sadhaka's version — full scriptural function, identical sixteen-bead composition, GTL Jaipur certified, hand-strung on natural silk with intermediate silver beads, energised at Purnima with Mahamrityunjaya, Lakshmi and Ganesh-pratistha rituals.

How to wear

Begin on Maha Shivaratri, Hanuman Jayanti, or any auspicious Purnima. Soak the entire mala in panchamrit. Perform a full sixteen-bead pratistha invoking each deity sequentially. Chant "Om Namah Shivaya" 1,008 times. Wear around the neck so the Gauri-Shankar bead rests at the heart chakra. Continuous wear is permitted but most practitioners reserve it for sadhana, festivals and high-stakes life events. Re-energise annually on Maha Shivaratri.

Questions

Frequently asked

Who should wear a Siddha Mala?

Siddha Mala is traditionally reserved for serious sadhakas, householders facing simultaneous multi-planetary challenges, business owners managing complex ventures, and spiritual aspirants completing advanced practice cycles. It is not for beginners — the combined planetary intensity across 16 deities is potent and may produce unstable energy in a wearer not grounded in basic daily sadhana. Recommended only after completing minimum one year of consistent 5 mukhi or 7 mukhi wear with mantra discipline.

Is there a wrong order for the beads on the mala?

Yes — traditional pratistha sequence runs from Ganesh (obstacle removal first) → 1 mukhi → ascending to 14 mukhi → Gauri-Shankar at the centre over the heart. The Gauri-Shankar must always be positioned at the front-centre over the Anahata chakra. Our atelier strings strictly to scriptural specification with each bead in its prescribed position. Any reseller offering a Siddha Mala with random order is selling a non-traditional product.

How does the energisation differ from a single-bead pendant?

Each of the sixteen beads receives its own deity-specific pratistha mantra cycle — 108 repetitions per bead, total 1,728 mantra cycles per mala. Then the assembled mala receives a Mahamrityunjaya 1,008-jap on Purnima night under the moon. Total energisation time per mala is 12-14 hours of priest work versus 90 minutes for a single bead. This makes Siddha Mala energisation among the most labor-intensive products in our catalog.

Can the mala be worn during sleep and bathing?

Sleep — yes, the mala is safe and beneficial to wear during sleep; many wearers report deeper REM cycles and reduced anxiety dreams. Bathing — no, remove during bathing to protect the silver spacers from soap-induced tarnish and to prevent the resham thread from absorbing chlorinated or hard water. Wipe dry before re-wearing. Avoid wearing during intimate relations as per traditional practice — store in a clean cloth pouch on the altar during those times.

What is the difference between the Indonesian and Nepal Siddha Mala?

Indonesian Siddha Mala uses smaller (8-15mm) plantation-grown beads, total weight 40-70 grams, priced ₹18,000-25,000. Nepal Siddha Mala uses larger (14-30mm) wild-harvested beads, total weight 150-250 grams, priced ₹1,25,000-3,00,000. Functionally, scripture treats both as valid Siddha Malas. Indonesian is the practical sadhaka choice; Nepal is the collector and serious advanced-practitioner choice. We carry both variants — this listing is the Indonesian standard tier. ---
